The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Hi Fran, I love the golden beets! Your illustrations are beautiful! Have you ever tried them on a black or very dark background? I wonder what they would look like--bet they'd pop right off the page! Thanks for your neat comment on my white on black flower. You don't happen to know what kind of flower it is, do you?! It was blooming in MA in late Aug., along the coast. Thanks again, Suzanne

This is version 2 of a painting I recently posted. I was unhappy with the way the original painting printed (and looked) . So I spent the day goosing up the painting with watercolor and colored pencil and then used Photoshop to get a look I was happier with. Let me know what you think!
