This is version 2 of a painting I recently posted. I was unhappy with the way the original painting printed (and looked) . So I spent the day goosing up the painting with watercolor and colored pencil and then used Photoshop to get a look I was happier with. Let me know what you think!

Hi Fran, I love the golden beets! Your illustrations are beautiful! Have you ever tried them on a black or very dark background? I wonder what they would look like--bet they'd pop right off the page!
